Re: Nashville question UPDATE -- found the hotel, now what

Oh, I've been to Nashville many times, and with her... (I promise you; when she sees The Castle, we will be stopping... I know her...)
And Ernest Tubb (I have a hot pad from there)...
Just looking for something different.. the hotel website made me laugh.. I paid 99 for THAT?

Well, you could head down to Lewis Street and try to score some smack.

Let me know if you see Steve Earle ...

I'm willing to bet their are still some folks from meeting trying to find their way out of the place.

I will say though that The Old Hickory Steak House put out a pretty fine porterhouse and had an extensive wine list.

I love Tootsies. Spent many hours hollerin' and swallerin' in there. And it's a dump alright.

I like Legends for a bit of a change of pace.

And I'll recommend the Ernest Tubb Record Store too.

    Had a blast.
Concert was wonderful and I'm not into Bonjovi. Fucker played for 2 1/2 hours and had Big and Rich in one song and Leann Rimes in another.
Every restaurant we wanted to go to was packed -- no Demos and ended up at that hole-in-the-wall kitty-corner from the Sommet Center. Pancake Pantry had a line out the door at 10 a.m. this morning.
Tootsie's was a dive as always -- for every beer I drank and so was the other bar (Corner Something).
Loews was well worth the 99 bucks... went to the gift shop this morning and they had four martini glasses for 75 percent off. Nothing like buy 1 at 17 bucks and get the other three free.
In all, a great time. Thanks for all who contributed.
Oh, you can also take all of the titty bars I've ever been to in my life, throw a 3x3" piece of cloth over the nipple of all the dancers. I still saw more cleavage last night from women who could and women who shouldn't have. And if they wore a little black dress, they probably were drunk.
