Talk about your bad coincidences...one of the officials in the suit is named David Duke.

Aside from multiple misspellings and factual errors (Martinsville Speedway in South Carolina? Richmond International Speedway?), this thing is a joy to read. I can't say any of it is stunning...but it is eye-opening.

Good Lord, you're right about that.

Do these guys have any conception of the modern-day workplace? Have they never heard of people suing over this stuff?

    (Assuming it's true, of course.)

Bingo. That's one owner, at least, albeit shared, then inherited. But it is one.

Two things stand out to me:
    1) Doesn't NASCAR provide any semblance of training regarding avoidance of sexual/racial harassment?
    2) Who is dumb enough to send emails of that nature? If you say something demeaning, racist, etc., you can always deny you said it and stand a chance. Emails leave a paper trail.

Wow...after reading the entire complaint, I'd say the media was very kind in what it chose to highlight. You'd think an e-mail would be something you would perhaps mention in a story since it hard evidence, yet the AP report did not.

Did the AP story mention the allegations of indecent exposure?

Yeah, the stories on the wire since this broke have mentioned that. Not the e-mail, but they did get that.

You are so right. She's a shaker and a mover. First JM, now NASCAR. Wow. I do tip my cap.

I didn't mean to imply the AP would soft-pedal the story.
