This town once had a dentist named Payne.

And a few years ago, one of the women's basketball teams had a girl named Staci Grindstaff on the roster. Doesn't seem much like there's any career (other than one, perhaps two) her name will fit.

 

I know of a dentist in town by the name of Dr. Hammer.

 

The surgeon most famous for doing gender reassignment surgery? Dr. Alter. (It's his real name, too, according to interviews with Carolla and Dr. Drew.)

An administrator at a school nearby is named Gay Johnson. I always giggle when my girlfriend (a teacher) says her name.

I watched an episode of "The Price is Right" years ago and one of the people called down to contestants row had the last name Kill. The guy was in college and Bob asked him what he was studying to be. The guy said a doctor and Bob just about fell over laughing.
