    Apart from the issue of rights fees, who's paying whom for radio broadcasts, etc., I'd say its pretty unprofessional on its face to frame a question around "choke job". I wouldn't be happy with the professionalism of my reporters if I found out they asked a question like that. It's unnecessarily inflammatory.

    And if you're hired and paid by the university, it's downright stupid.

    Not saying its right. In a perfect world, radio guys would have the same freedom newspapers do to criticize. But we all know that's not reality.

    And the truth is that many, many radio people are fine and dandy with their kow-towing reality.
