    Yes.

Rolle is FSU's second Rhodes Scholar athlete. Garrett Johnson, who won the NCAA shot put title, won in 2006.

Some of you guys know what black writers are SUPPOSED to be writing about better than black writers themselves.

Anyway, I'm trying to get an interview with Myron before X-Mas.

    Congrats to him.

I hear there are entire offices set up on each college campus to help in such endeavors.

He obviously seems like an exceptional kid, but the only reason that this was more than a feel good blurb was the fact that he had to the interview on the day of a nationally televised game.

Says later, NFL, I'm studying at Oxford.

    An excellent role model.

Good for him. The NFL can wait.

So if he would have said -- I can still achieve all of my goals even if I don't study at Oxford, but I want to play in the NFL first and get financially set for life -- he'd be less of a role model?

Oxford is a goal he obviously wanted to obtain. He is a role model because there are so many athletes who don't value education and he obviously does.

I understand that -- what if he had said he is going to play in the NFL for a few years, get wealthy and then try to get into Harvard medical school to finish his schooling and become a doctor.

Would he have been less of a role model?
