My knuckle-headed teenage son ...

The boy's gonna be the death of me. Driving him home from this morning's practice -- they have to be on the field at 6 a.m. to accommodate the coaches' pre-semester teacher meetings -- I heard music coming out of his earphones that I knew hadn't been paid for. I asked him about it and he told me about "this cool site" where you can download music for free! Yaaaaaay!

I deleted the mp3s and removed the application that links to it. Anybody got any idea on how to make sure the RIAA jackboots don't come knocking on my door?

You'll be fine. The way the RIAA actually catches people -- for the most part -- is when they're making their music available for upload. It's much harder to track people who only download.

    Your thread title is redundant.

Start stockpiling guns, ammunition, water and canned goods now.

We'll see you at the end of the siege.
