  1. it may be, but zardari has to mind his p's and q's, otherwise the army will be on his back. and since the army and isi still are in cahoots with al-qaida on some level ...

    That's true, you can never underestimate the power of the army in Pakistan.

    No guarantees about whether the future will be brighter with Musharraf out, but hard to see any downside to this from here.
