PB and J? Do you have a fruit roll-up and a Capri-Sun to go with that?

Had a shoulder MRI'd, once. Not nearly as bad as the CT scan with the cage over my face AND stuffed into the tube.

Close your eyes and relax, SP. As for some drugs, too.

Ask your docs if there's an Aquilion One system anywhere around. It's a new CAT scan system that osteopaths are using more and more, rather than common MRIs. It's high-def, and best of all, very fast. Because of the speed of the system, movement isn't a problem.
(I just did a story on it last month, when a local hospital got one.)

EDIT: My article isn't online yet, but here's the release from the hospital.

Deadline was the 24th. The issue doesn't come out until June 1, and the mag is awfully slow about getting content online, so it'll be second week of June before it gets there. Yeah, weak.

Had a shoulder MRI. Twice. In the tube, head first.

Fuck if I'm EVER going in again. Open MRi or nothing.

It went better today, but it didn't take as long. We used some extra sandbags and that seemed to solve the problem.
I couldn't get a sedative. I was told I would have had to have gotten it from the doctor beforehand.

Good. You looking at ACL/MCL work, or is it skeletal?

If I had to guess, MCL or torn meniscus.

Aha. I was wondering because I'm certain I've got torn ACL and possibly MCL in my left knee. So, I'll be going through all this crap whenever I get medical bennies again.
