These days, many people use the acronym LGBT to describe the gay community. The T is for Transgender, which would fit Chastity/Charlie.

I think some people in the gay community are ambivalent about transgender people. I admit I can't wrap my mind around the notion that people believe they were born the wrong gender. Having said that, I don't see any problem with Chastity's/Charlie's work for gay rights continuing. I welcome any ally, gay straight, bi or anywhere else on the spectrum.

That was an interesting question posed. With an answer that made perfect sense by F_T. I wondered the same thing when I saw this story.

First off, I respect that she is a human being. Her sexuality is another issue. I just wonder if she was say my daughter or your daughter, would such a fuss be made. I know the answer, just sayin.

Maybe once she becomes a man, he'll find he's attracted to them.

But for someone who has spent a lifetime avoiding a penis, why does she want one now? Will he masturbate? Will GLAAD be happy?

Not that simple, but here's an update:

First of all, I read Penner's column that he wrote before becoming Christine. It was interesting to hear him out.

Second, I was not aware he had reversed his becoming a woman.

Third, I can still remember watching Sonny & Cher and their closing moments of the show with Chastity, soon-to-be Chaz.

It's just hard to understand what the thought process is for these folks.

You think it's hard, think how tough it is for them.
