I remember Pirates of the Caribbean was on the list and The Hunger Games. It's odd to think how many franchises they've been exposed to that began before they were of movie-viewing age.

Two girls one Cup. I’m even afraid to google it.

You left out the insufferable Teddy Bears.

That was the goal. For the sake of full disclosure, the Raiders of the Lost Ark one was based on an episode of The Big Bang Theory.

Both Gruffudd/Alba FF movies were semi decent and could have been good (Chiklis was fun as Ben Grimm and Evans had the right smart aleck attitude for Johnny) but they fucked up Dr. Doom from top to bottom and that tanked both films.

I actually liked what Chiklis and Evans did in both movies and I didn't mind Gruffudd, but Alba was terrible. I do agree that the worst part of both movies was how they screwed up Dr. Doom. I just hope the MCU gets him right and soon. They are idiots if they don't make use of the character.

Doom wasn't the only problem in the sequel. The depiction of Galactus also sucked.

Other than Kate Winslet, Titanic sucked as a movie. But my experience of seeing it in the theater was among the top five movie theater experiences ever.

It took a couple months to reach the theater in the small, Upper Peninsula town where I was living. Once it finally did, everyone's wife/girlfriend dragged them to see it.

When the boat finally hit the iceberg and started sinking, several of these henpecked dudes started cheering in the theater. They knew it was almost over!

About 40 years ago, one of the first movie additions was either Z Channel or Theta Cable, can't remember. They put a switch on your TV and you got 2 movies a week. They played one after the other for a week, then next week you got 2 different movies. One Saturday, I had nothing to do, it was raining. Just wanted to sit home and do nothing. The 2 movies that week were "The Sound of Music" and "Slap Shot." I watched them three times each that day.

Other than that, I was never into the mafia movies, so no Godfathers, Casino, Goodfellas. Each time I tried to watch Casino, I'd turn on during the part where they had the guy's head in a vice and were ready to crush him -- no thanks.
No Star Wars, no LOTR. No Water World or Dances with Wolves, although I like Costner.

The 45 minutes or so while the boat is sinking is the best part of the movie. They veer away from Jack and Rose for most of it and focus in on what the other passengers and crew members are doing. I rather liked that part.

I remember walking out of that movie with a girl who was blabbering on about Jack and Rose and thinking, "The first half of the movie was made for her, and once the boat hit the iceberg, it was made for me."

Many Sandler movies. Any movie about hip hop dancing. Most “haunting” movies
