Which comes from a Mr. Show sketch. Cross and Odenkirk all but took their names off it because of what they saw as studio hackery to it.

As a schlubby, middle-aged NY Giants fan, I am offended by this movie.
Granted, I haven't seen, but I still take offense at being ridiculed by a negative stereo-type.

Saw this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of little touches that gave it some nice authenticity. I'm an Eagles fan, and there's a talk radio war between an Eagles fan and a Giants fan that made me laugh out loud several times because of how true it rang. Ex: Eagles fan calls up and chants, "Tied for first place, tied for first place. Oh, and one more thing: Ties for first place!" I also liked that they used real people like McNabb and Manning, although Oswald's favorite player was fictional.

Definitely one of the better movies I've seen in quite a while.

I heard Patton Oswalt on a show say they made the film for $300K.

That made me like it even more.

Is there a place where I can see all the theatres in which this movie is playing? So far, I've only found sites that make you type in a certain zip; not where you can just see ALL theatres.

I don't think it's ever been in wide release. I'm guessing it will be on DVD pretty soon.

RS, it looks like this is the most comprehensive list:

We saw it at Proctors in Schenectady -- only four other people in the theater. Looks like they're doing smallish venues and theaters.

I got a screener. If it was here, it was gone in a weekend.

I think Big Fan is one of the movies you can punch up though onDemand.
They have a "in the theaters" feature and it seems like it was listed.
