Yeah, I'm sure the mom wanted her son to go to LSU because she thought he'd be more academically challenged.

 

I didn't hear it, but they're reporting that earlier today on Sports Talk radio in Baton Rouge, she said she would NOT sign the NLOI papers. Of course, Collins turns 18 soon and won't need her to sign papers.

Story out there is that his girlfriend is headed to Alabama to play basketball, so he's following her.

 

If he's as good as he thinks he is, he'll have many bigger moments.

Kellen Winslow Jr. thinks the kid has no bitch.

 

Supposedly, the deal with Winslow was that Kellen Sr. wanted his son to play for a black head coach and wanted it to be Michigan State's Bobby Williams. The compromise was Miami because Randy Shannon was a prominent assistant at the time.

As big a disaster as Bobby Williams wound up being in East Lansing, I think Lil Kellen was onto something.
