Question for Jim Plunkett about his handicapped parents at the Super Bowl one year:

"Jim, let me double-check something with you, just to make sure I've got it straight: Deaf mother, blind father?"

    (Or something to that effect.)

It's not a given that his father had the same name.

Tis true... however the setup to it (and long forgotten) was that the answer to previous question lent its self to his mentioning it...

Not really an inappropriate question, but still an hilarious exchange.

While trying to kill time during a rain delay, Mets broadcaster Ralph Kiner asked back-up catcher Choo Choo Coleman, "how'd you get your nickname?"

    Coleman: "I don't know."

Kiner: "Well, what's your wife's name, and what's she like?"

Coleman: "Her name's Mrs. Coleman, and she likes me."

I would have laughed my ass off if I had been there for that question.

    "Next question."

Still rising as it cleared the fence; massive props to whoever asked it. Even T.O. was trying not to laugh.
