She's probably going to muff quite a few times, even at her age.

Write-thru about 9 p.m. saying she got into the game, but no story on how the game actually came out.

EDIT: I spoke (typed?) too soon. WNBA capsules came across at 11:21. The actual story came across at 11:26.

Playoff opener for the S.A. SilverStars going great, on the road at Sacramento
    Up 45-29 at intermission
This S.A. team is similar to male counterparts (Spurs) in that they play total "team" ball.
    I predict a WNBA title, following a sweep of first-round best-of-3 series.
Game 2 is Saturday nite here at ATT Center, if anyone is in these parts and wishes to attend. :)

I'd have posted on WNBA: Thread II, but it was locked back in late May.
    Don't know why.

Sacramento within 74-67 but just two mins remaining.

    S.A. back up by nine.
It's likely over in Game 1

This is why I love this place:

One dude is live-blogging a WNBA game, BYH is posting Steve Trout baseball cards, and it all makes sense.

I've got WVa and Colo on the 50-inch plasma

Kara Lawson just drained a 3 to put Sacramento within 4, at :28
These girls can play, I'm telling you.
    Ticha Penichero is the shit.

    Too much S.A., though, overall

    Turn off the little TV
S.A. wins 85-78, with Game 2 and 3 (if necessary) back in Texas
NY topped Connecticut in the other series opener tonight - FYI
