Reports today say 170 arrested. It took them a day, but at least they did it. They'd have to be held as material witnesses, wouldn't they?

Again, tell me why it's a good thing to allow open carrying of weapons in public. Being armed to the teeth all the time means you're more likely than you'd otherwise be to take out your anger with deadly violence, right? Yeah, I'm daring to suggest somebody's blessed Second Amendment rights might not be perpetual or subject to some scrutiny.

They are holding all 170 of them each for a bail of ...

    ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

That'll buy a lot of donuts.

Things that may interest only me ...

Of the 150 or something mugshots of arrested bikers posted online, one guy was black. There was a mugshot that contained personal data including race, and African American was listed. I could not find that one again but I think this is the guy:

A profile on him would be entertaining.
(edit the link keeps changing it is Jerry Pollard, age 27)

I estimate that around seven were classified as Latino.

    Kudos to DMN for coverage:

Waco Tribune is also on the case

They were all charged with participating in organized crime leading to capital murder.

And once these guys bond out -- at $1 million each, that might be a while -- it's going to take them a while to get back to wherever they came from. All the motorcycles are being confiscated and will become county property and then auctioned off.

I guess they don't give you room to destroy in Texas.

If you're not a Bandido, you don't wear a "Texas" bottom rocker. Everybody knows that.

Black leather vests, arguing over patches sewn on... It's all just so adorable.
