One thing I haven't heard yet. How exactly did you respond to her comment? It's not like she said it and walked out, since you said she stayed another 15 minutes.

Was it awkward silence? Did you ask questions? ("Just tonight?" "Just your legs?") Are you thinking the Magic 8 Ball just ruined your chances for that night or will the legs not be opening for you at all?

Not sure if the 8 ball ruined all chances or just that one. We hung out last night with several friends at a bar and things were fine, but I had to leave early because I had to work early today.

Very true, though I would be fighting an urge the next time I saw her to ask if she was keeping her legs closed that night, too. Now it has been a while since I was in the dating/trying to get some game, but somehow I don't think that particular approach would get me where I want to go.
