I don't think a Kansas City Star cartoonist speaks for the left any more than a Fox News guest joking that Barack Obama should be assassinated speaks for the right.

Then again, I don't try to make stupid-ass arguments like the one that started this thread.

 

Gosh, I'm glad to know an unpublished cartoon from the KC Star reflects the views of the entire left.

I sure am glad there's no evidence of a lack of love and compassion from the right like that.

I'm not defending it. I called the cartoon, 'stupid'. What I was comparing it to was the right-wingers who try to claim the left is hypocritical for that cartoon are the same compassionate ones who preach love and led us into the current clusterfuck that is Iraq.
