Montel Williams busted in Milwaukee (for maybe thinking about smoking pot)

TV celebrity Montel Williams was cited at Mitchell International Airport on Tuesday for carrying a pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana, the Milwaukee County sheriff's office reported.

Doesn't he have some sort of chronic illness? Maybe that explains the pipe?

I think he has some kind of MS and I think pot is sometimes used to help that.

 

How is it legal to take a pipe that looks like a pipe that people sometimes use to use drugs?

 

He has MS, though I'm not sure what type. For the worst types, medical marijuana can be prescribed.

 

I seem to remember a clip of him floating around the internet a few years ago where he talked about THC pills or some other form of THC he used for some illness and he was just adamant that he didn't actually smoke marijuana and urged you not to, either.

 

Is it covered by the Partnership for Prescription Assistance?

 

I don't understand how you could arrest him if there was no marijuana residue.

Any pipe that you can use to smoke marijuana you can use to smoke tobacco.

What the heck is the law in Wisconsin/Milwaukee and why would the TSA even alert the local cops to such a pipe? What's the security threat?

 

Maybe he reported a pipe bong, and they thought it was a pipe bomb.
