Just Google Image searched "Dogs with beaks" and voila, first one to pop up. The Granny is old and wise, my friends. The Granny is old and wise.

It's an optical illusion from the angle of the first picture. Compare it to the second. It's not a beak, it's decomposition. The skin around the nose has started to decay (or been skinned, which seems possible given the way the rest of its body looks), exposing the bones around the nose. It looks like a pug-nosed dog, like a pit bull, english bulldog or boston terrier.
The ears in the second pic also look like a dog's ears.

Have we discounted the possibility that this is just another one those photoshop hoaxes that pop up on the internet every week nowadays? Maybe some tech wizard just connected the body of a dead dog to the head of a dead sea turtle and coordinated the color.

    Nobody cares about YOU.

Maybe this was Michael Vick's doing (too soon?).

Turtles have shells which are part of their bodies (the inner layer of the shell includes part of the turtle's rib cage and backbone and the outer layer is skin) and they can't just pop out like hermit crabs. They don't have teeth.

Michael Vick did not do a very good job of getting rid of the evidence.
