DeNiro as Capone with a bat.

    I mean, Pacino is 5-foot-ZERO.

What does "true to life actor" mean?

Sorry, I was struggling for a good adjective there. I was looking believeability, as in you can easily see this guy as a real mob boss. And as far as Pacino's size? Wasn't Philadelphia's Nicky Scarfo all of 5'6", but still was one of the bloodiest bosses in the post-RICO era?

    What about Phil Leotardo?

Although DeNiro did a great job with Vito Corleone, doesn't he lose points for his portrayal of mob boss Paul Vitti?

Point of note: Michael Madsen wasn't a mob boss, he was just part of the gang. Laurence Tierney played the "mob" boss.

I thought Sonny Black was a boss, or was he just a capo?

Definitely need to add Capone to De Niro's list. He was fantastic in The Untouchables.

Sorry, I was thinking of Reservoir Dogs. Disregard.

Paul Sorvino as Paul Cicero (really Paul Vario of the Lucchese family) seemed the most authentic, and Goodfellas remains the most authentic mob movie of them all.
