This time, it didn't collapse, but the Crosstown Commons are going to be Hell on Wheels.

I-35W At Hwy 62 Closed Due To Sagging Bridge Beam

I'm glad they caught it before we had 35W The Sequel, but yikes!

Good lord, just what that part of town needed was another road getting closed.

If they need an expert on sagging beams, they could call this guy:

I used to take Crosstown from 35W every day to work. I am so glad I don't have to drive it anymore.

If they keep that closed for any length of time, along with the collapsed portion of 35W, getting around in Minneapolis is going to be one of the worst traffic nightmares you can think of.

They should just tear up I-35 all the way down to Laredo and start over. OH WAIT! Gov. Goodhair is already doing that in Texas!

I'm glad they caught the second bridge. Thank goodness traffic must be a lot lighter there since the first bridge is out.

The uptown area is still all torn to hell as well, right?

I have to drive to the cities soon, and I'm not looking forward to it.

An entrepreneur would buy some ferries and go to town.

Better or worse than the great state of Wisconsin deciding to tear up I-94 along the length of Milwaukee?

You could always decide to caulk your wagon and float it across.

    Caulk your own wagon, pervert.
