It was funny to read the quote about how the NFL is trying hard to replicate the home-viewing experience in the stadium.

    Seems so ass-backwards.

. . . just another of a zillion reasons why the in-stadium experience in most cities is atrocious.

That's your opinion. Others may like it that way.

The forward-thinking Cleveland Browns already show up-to-date player stats for the day, at least the league leaders among each position.

I am definitely looking forward tonight to watching Mark Igram play the Packers.

Sean Payton so looked forward to it that he risked the game on it on the last play. Let's see, run a rookie on a goal-line slam or let Drew Brees throw it? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...

Rookie had nothing to do with it. The formation was a dead giveaway, and they previously failed to run for a yard on 3rd and 1. Terrible play call, regardless of the personnel.

Brees could have walked into the endzone had he ran naked bootleg off fake to Ingram. No Packers near the left edge. If the wanted fallback they could have leaked TE into endzone if Brees had to dump it.

Ingram learned what Payton meant when he said before the game that they were not playing Youngstown State.

Rookie had less than anything to do with it. Ingram's as good a choice to try that as just about anyone. Simply a poor call.
