It's the Yankees. It's expected they win.

I like Acta at this point. Ventura is not a bad choice.

As an Angels fan, it's not Scioscia. Maybe Dipota for pulling the plug on Hatcher, though despite St. Mike's reservations.

I agree. I've never been a big fan of Girardi but with everything they've had to contend with (injuries, Kevin Long's continued incompetence, and playing in the toughest division in MLB history) he has earned it.

    AL MVP: Trout
    AL Manager: Scioscia
    AL Cy Young: Weaver

Trout is the new Jeter. The Angels behind Trumbo and Trout are the new Yankees.

A week or two ago, I would have said Votto. He is still right there as the clear No. 2, but as things stand now it would have to be McCutchen.

I mean would Davey Johnson getting MOY over Hurdle (assuming both win division titles) really be that big of a slight?

If the Pirates and Nats fade and the Mets step up, I could see Wright as MVP and Collins as Manager of the Year.

Strasburg is the second best pitcher on his team and third best in the league?

Obviously 86 innings at this point isn't really enough, but I would like everyone to note that Ryan Dempster has a 1.99 ERA at the break.

Not huge, but what Hurdle is doing just does not happen every year, or decade.
