When's the last time a pitcher was the recipient of a payback pitch? Seems like position players always end up taking it.

Yeah, I was kind of disappointed Urena was ejected last night because I wanted him to have to bat in the second or third inning.

It would be funny if in a blowout a position player ended up on the mound and some pitcher who beaned him stepped up to the plate.

But seriously, how much would it change the game if they made the penalty two bases for a HBP? How many of the "unwritten rules" are enforced by the fact that the pitcher can throw a 95 mph projectile at a batter's head? The game is stacked in favor of the pitcher already. Elevated position, eight other defenders, fewer pitchers face a batter three times. And we're going to also make the pitcher the judge, jury and executioner of the unwritten rules? Seems kinda dumb.

This is a fan account disguised to look like a team account. Not a joke I'd expect from a team in San Francisco

Is it an unwritten rule that you always try and hold back a member of the other team, and not your own?

Six games? As in a week? Should be two starts minimum.

He allowed two runs in 1.1 innings, making him the second-most effective pitcher of the Phillies' day.
