Mitch might as well go all the way with this thing. As a sequel to the Heaven book, how 'bout See You In Hell, where Mitch personally determines who he thinks will be in hell and what punishment they suffer.

Wait -- aren't you couning this current one?

"Tuesdays with Morrie," "Five People," and now "For One More Day," blatantly stolen from "Field of Dreams"/"Shoeless Joe."

The original Kinsella novel was a great, delightful fantasy.

Dwarfie hasn't written anything great, in his life.

    Crassly-commercial . . . fur suuuuure.

    Great? No.

And yet, the soccer mom cows and the retiree sheep just eat it up and keep it coming while the Dwarf gets richer, more pompous and more full of himself.

We're long past the point where SR -- when infected with both the Midget and Dwarf -- is unwatchable.
Not even the Great Ryan (with Loopy patronizing him, throughout each half-hour)
    can save it.

  11. I think this is what Gabriel Garcia Marquez would have been, if he'd grown up on Cheerios.
