Missed Cory Lidle flight, dies later in plane crash

This is awful.
You'd think he got a 2nd shot at life, but taken away.
And the guy who missed both flights?
Don't ever get on a plane again.

Isn't it ironic.

And reading the story, it sounds like he might have been a bit dramatic re: the Lidle flight. He was offered tickets to a Tigers-Yankees playoff game. BIG difference between that and flying into a Manhattan building.

 

Maybe God was just after that guy and Lidle was an unfortunate bystander.

 

When it's your time... yikes.

 

"I was supposed to be on that plane," Cartwright told friends at the time. The pilot, Tyler Stanger, had invited Cartwright and Rod Watkins, a mutual friend, to a playoff game between the Yankees and the Detroit Tigers, but neither could make the trip.

That jumped out at me but for a separate reason. It seemed to me that the guy was saying he was offered tix to the Tigers-Yankees game but didn't go...yet somehow figured he dodged death by not going.

It seems like the deceased was a bit of a dramatic name-dropper. Karma bit him in the ass huh?

 

Perhaps he had tickets for Game 5 which would have been in New York.

 

Script writers now have their outline for "Final Destination 4 - Electric Boogaloo."
