Not sure how this guy was free anyway. Should have been in jail

This story makes me wish the justice system allowed for sentences such as: "One hour in a room with the child's father."

    What a sickening story.

Imagine this obit dropping in the box.

I feel horrible for Peterson because you would think he has done enough in life so far to keep his children safe from getting beaten to death.

    Just awful.

Apparently, the kid was a so-called "secret child."

    Doesn't matter.

Takes a big man to beat the shit out of toddlers. I have issues with the death penalty in the sense that only the worst represented (generally the poorest) are usually going to get the sentence. But I have no moral problem for someone getting the death penalty for a crime like this, even if the child didn't die.

This is the type of story that just makes you nauseous.

So that justifies it? Who gives a crap? It's still a frickin' 2-year-old.

    It gets worse.

The guy knocked around a three-year-old last year.

    Nope.

Just responding to the comment about how one would think that Peterson would have been in a position to keep the kid away from harm.

I have to imagine that is one of the scariest things when you are no longer with the other parent of your child, not really knowing who is going to be around your kid when you aren't there. You'd like to think somebody you had a child with would have enough sense not to date a guy like that, but how often do you really get to know your ex's current flame?
