MSU-Mankato head coach was arrested today on suspicion of producing child porn. He's been on leave since Friday and has been head coach for five years.

Used to cover him at a previous stop. I did a double-take when I saw the name and had to check the bio to make sure it was the same guy.

    Creepy.

You probably covered him more than I have, but I'm familiar enough with him in recent years to identify with what you stated. As stated in the story, Mankato has been a competitive D-II of late.

I realize it's Division II, but given the hours football coaches at all levels put in on the job, how would he have time to do this on the side?

Coach thinks Dober needs to be fired.

This could turn into an interesting legal situation. The videos were cell phone videos he took of his own kids, under 10.

    But here's description:
Say police find no other child porn or anything on any of his computers or anything. Many people have naked pictures of their kids, usually, obviously as babies, not closer to 10. Are all of them child porn? What's the line? Will be interesting to see if there's a legal argument there. And what about the moral one?

I don't know. I can only speculate, but I'm guessing that if they were simply pictures of his kids, he would not have been arrested. I'm thinking they must have (and it's incredibly repugnant even thinking about this) been obviously sexually suggestive pictures for him to be arrested.

Dauber? I think you're barking up the wrong tree there. Luther is a strange old bachelor who lives by himself. Howard, too, would make me wonder.
