Milwaukee J-S's editors take to the mound

People here savaged Michael Wilbon for throwing out the first pitch at a Cubs game at his boyhood haunt of Wrigley Field. And Wilbon doesn't even "cover" the Cubs.

So how does this video sit with the critics, with the Milwaukee paper's top editor throwing out the ceremonial pitch and its sports editor providing the excited commentary?

I guess you can be a hack and work at the J-S. My resume is in the mail.

Insert symbolism here about the pitch bouncing five feet in front of the plate.

I just projectile-vomited on my laser printer.

    :D

Seriously, that's egregiously horrible from every possible point of view. And didn't the J-S offer its employees the worst voluntary buyout offer in history a week or two ago?

    Fixed.

  11. Not in sports.

The Packers beat writers are as good as it gets in the biz.
Jeff Potrykus on UW football is outstanding.
Most of the other writers are, at worst, more than solid. I could list 3 or 4 off the top of my head.

(I think ijag fixed it well for you.)

I couldn't even watch the whole thing. I'm speechless.
