    So what was college for? And J-school classes? And learning some ropes in early days of the business by paying attention, by trial and error, by knowing that a dumb, open-ended question often will lead to a dumb, open-ended answer?

    Sorry, but some of the verbiage seems like the guy was trying to win a Convention Speaker of the Year nomination.

    Messrs Drink & Canyon,

    You're judging by looking simply at the summation, sorta Sawatsky Cliff Notes (Coles Notes in Canada).

    If you take away one thing from his session that leads to one better answer in one story then it's worthwhile. That would be the attitude of a "pro." Free your mind and your ass will follow.
