No, but on the other hand someone as successful as Rush doesn't get there or STAY there in the face of SERIOUS opposition without having a TON of talent. ANYONE in broadcast media can learn a lot from Rush. That is just a fact.

Besides, you are proving my point. You are more interested in attacking the messenger (due to your likely bias) than in dealing the with contents & merits of the message. Can you deny the merits of what Rush & JDV said about McDork?

Race card = WAY OVERUSED.

Every time someone of color speaks of their perception based on what they think they've experienced, people cry "race card." Give me a break. That's what the guy thinks. So what? I'd venture to guess his comments didn't come unsolicited.

This is the kind of nonsense that makes some journalists of color keep their distance when dealing with colleagues. It comes off as "unfriendly" or "sticking with their own" but seriously, who wants to be around a bunch of people that says this kind of stuff ALL THE TIME? A guy has an opinion and now he's playing the race card. Please.

So on the one hand you have Limbaugh saying that the media overpraise McNabb because the media want to see a black quarterback succeed.

On the other hand you have McNabb saying that the media criticize him too harshly -- simply because he's a black quarterback.

Perhaps the truth, as it always does, lies between the two extremes.
