McArdle on tech company poaching and effect vs. purpose

    Posted (almost) without comment because I love Megan McArdle columns. Thought the tech company poaching (or lack thereof) was interesting in and of itself. Can say from personal experience that lawyers/law firms don't hire from clients, which can be unfair to underpaid qualified staff members we meet while doing work for/with a client.
    Loved the effect vs. purpose as well.
