(News) desk jockey person here whose paper has extended deadline for one of our paper to get the fight in for tomorrow: What time do you estimate the fight will start Pacific Coast time?

West Coast time? Between 8:30 and 9.

  4. At least 12 a.m. EST. I'd say more like 12:30 a.m.

I didn't quite look at the clock, but the opening bell was right around midnight EST, give or take a minute or two either way.

The Kentucky Derby post time was supposed to be 6:24 EST and started 15 minutes later for no particular reason.

Very annoying. If you have a start time, stick to it, give or take a couple of minutes, unless there are circumstances such as weather that are beyond anyone's control.
