They lost today in the AVP final against Youngs and Branangh, ending their 90-something winning streak in Ohio.

    I think they'll get by.

And talk about anticlimactic. "WE BEAT MAY-TREANOR AND WALSH!!!! Ten days after the Olympics."

  4. Wait,
They had a 90-match win streak in Ohio? Didn't know beach voleyball was all that hot there.
Have thses girls ever played California? I hear the beach volleyball there is pretty good. ;)

Same pair who beat them the last time they lost, too.

I think it's pretty impressive that they won 90-plus consecutive matches in Ohio. How long of a winning streak did they have overall?

Sorry -- like Louisville's offense, I'm way out of it. Hat tip to Evil.

Yeah, what the hell happened there? i turned it on at halftime, it was 10-0. Then I saw the final score. Two points??

I thought their streak was at 109?

On an intentional grounding call nonetheless. There's a lot that needed to be replaced on offense, and losing Brian Brohm's wasn't nearly as big as losing Harry Douglas or Gary Barnidge or Anthony Allen. Louisville's offense will be better and the team will be better by the end of the year.

At least that's what I keep telling myself.
