Apparently, only the people who write for this book should be able to write about any issue involving the environment, globalization, TARP, mortgage bailouts, or oil prices. Anyone else is a hypocrite.

Wonder what Taibbi's pad looks like? He may be a pretty good writer, but he also comes off as smug a-hole who never really had to struggle very much to get where he is. He can thank his dad for that I guess, but I figured his dad would teach him a little humility. Not so.

His politics aside, most journalists would never work again after that pope list. It would be one thing if he did it as a kid, but he was 35 when he wrote that and based on when it was published, it was weeks before the Pope died.

He's an immensely talented petulant little brat.

Indeed I do. Love to find the seams in life and exploit them.

Its really hard to fathom that someone could write a book called "Hot , Flat ant Crowded" who's has benefited from the building of malls.

Actually, I thought 'hot, flat, and crowded' was about a shopping mall.

I always had trouble listening to people like Leo DiCaprio on this subject, knowing they were living in megamansions.
I never suspected Friedman was one of them, too.

    The truth's a bitch, ain't it?

  12. If you really wanted to go for a zinger you would have said the truth was inconvenient. But we all know you're not that clever, hondo.
