Some Kind of Wonderful...which had the added bonus of no Molly Ringwald.

  2. Some day, I hope to stop confusing her with Mary Louise Parker and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.

    That's easy, Fen.

Parker dropped Josh's cell phone in the chili and now sells weed, and Mastrantonio was hot as hell in her panties and yelled "On the snap, Vincent!" at Tom Cruise..

    At least, I think so.

And a pretty good soundtrack, too. Closing credits: Irish band Lick The Tins doing "I Can't Help Falling In Love" = one of the best, obscure 80's movie tracks. A personal fave. (Yes, I'm a total 80's movie nerd). Oddly enough, the film also included the Psychedelic Furs song "Pretty in Pink," though it doesn't appear on the soundtrack.

Coincidentally, Mary Louise Parker was also in FGT.

I think Mastrantonio was in that awful movie with Gene Hackman as her father who is opposing council. Class Action maybe?

Hey - guilty pleasure. Stop it.

You want an awful Mastrantonio movie, try "January Man" with Kevin Kline.

  8. Liked Class Action myself. An underrated Lawrence Fishburne movie, too.
If you want to see MEM in a great, weird film, try John Sayles's "Limbo."

Killick, good call. Flesh for Lulu ("I Go Crazy") and Charlie Sexton ("Beat's So Lonely") other highlights.

Mary Stuart is better looking now than she was in those teen movies.

Agree ... some women get much hotter as they age. Another example: Connie Britton on Friday Night Lights. Much hotter now than on Spin City.

Indeed. And I think Diane Lane looks even better now. Same goes for Jennifer Aniston.
