I remember playing that level back in the day. I don't think it was hidden.

 

I like "King Bowser has never had level designers of this quality before."

 

If I had another 24 minutes to kill, I would go back, watch that again and count the number of profanities spewed as Mario falls to his death, is lit on fire, is eaten by giant flowers, is run over by Goombahs and, in general, acts as if he has never rolled through a castle at any point during his life.

I never could make it to the Minus Worlds.

 

I went back and showed the first 5 minutes, 5 seconds of the video to Ms. Bobcat. She laughed for a few seconds, then told me, "You're way too into this," while I continued to laugh each time Mario died).

Oh, and during the first 5:05, Mario died 15 times. (Didn't count the fucks.)
