... even though the Mariners have used five pitchers.

Nothing needs to happen a hell of a lot faster. The Mariners couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat, and NOW they decide to spend 20 minutes batting in the bottom of the 8th?

I wish those aqua alternate jerseys stayed back in the 1990s where they belong.

Brandon League somehow didn't implode there. He wanted to. Every atom in his body wanted to give up a three-run home run to Tony Gwynn, Jr.

If the M's complete the no-hitter, it will at least tie the record of six pitchers used in a no-hitter.

And the current pitcher was a substitute teacher/bartender last offseason.

Five minutes till deadline, probably another 10 to get a capsule, and we're 2,000 miles from either team ... yeah, I'm waving the white flag here. Second day story it is.

Dee Gordon safe on an infield hit leading off, ump Ted Barrett ready to make safe signal, remembers it is a no-hitter and calls it out.

Would love to see the eighth-inning ruling of an error on pitcher Charlie Furbush changed to a hit. But this is in Seattle, so it won't happen.

    No-hitters with a * ... must be a Friday night thing.
