When speaking of top-tier soccer leagues, there is only one "Premier League." The Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, all have names that do not include the word "Premier."

The others that gravy train off the original, that call themselves "Premier League", are the ones that need a designation.

For as big as a goal as that was for City, I would have expected a louder initial response from the crowd. Plastics infestation?

Man United played negative, as I suppose it should have knowing it just needed a draw. That Kompany goal was big.

Now that Man U has to open it up a bit, it should be a helluva second half.

Someone's getting a red card before the final whistle. There may be more than one before we're done.

They could play 30, United isn't scoring.

Well-earned. City played better and deserved the win. But I think Newcastle will be a very tough nut to crack on the weekend, especially considering how badly they got embarrassed by Wigan.

Today in the ESPN sucks department:

"Manchester City claimed its first first EPL title since 1968, defeating Man U thanks to Vincent Kompany's goal, the only one of the match, just before the half."

Citeh ain't won shit yet, unfortunately. Still two more matches.
