My wife is a nurse, and we live near a border — one state has a helmet law, the other doesn't. Guess where she says a lot of donated organs are coming from this time of year?

You may think it is stupid but guess what - in this country we have the right to be stupid.

And just like the decision to wear a seat belt, the decision to wear a helmet is each individual's decision to make - not some whiny ass political action group or politician.

I'll buy this, if you can then get everyone to agree that anyone who chooses to ride without a helmet must therefore be left to die at the side of the road if he crashes, and if someone helps him out of the goodness of their heart, he certainly won't be accepted in any ER room unless he has the ability to pay for his stupidity up front.
