    Imagine trying to explain to a 7-year-old ...

    A) Daddy's dead.
    B) Daddy died eating gruesome bugs.
    C) Daddy died so you could have a giant snake.

    Then imagine that conversation (omitting A) at 10-year-old intervals of this girl's life.
