I just saw a Life after 50 popup website that looked pretty simple in terms of articles and such (I think yahoo's help columnists are about as no-brainer) but there's a shit load of ads on this site. I expect yahoo to ring in the bucks.

Here's my question: Have you started your own website for cash? How'd it go, what's the most difficult hurdle, what advice would you give and are you making at least a part-time income off of it?

Once you get used to taking your clothes off and positioning the Web cam, the rest is easy.

See if you've got anything saleable/desireable you'd like to get rid of, and put it on eBay.

I've been bringing in a nice amount of cash the past few months doing that.

It ain't something that you can live off (although there's ways to become a full-time seller), but the supplementary income is definitely helpful.
