   I'm curious about something, Stitch. When you say terms of the deal in writing, can that merely be an e-mail exchange? Or do you have to have actual written contracts for freelance assignments? That would seem to be really time-consuming.

   E-mails usually are fine, although I'd imagine if you had to go to court over a deal, that various state laws might differ.
