    In the dubbed version, when they replace "Strike this mother fucker out" with "Strike this guy out" it's classic. The lips come nowhere close to matching up with the words, and it doesn't even sound like Dorn's voice.

    The best line might have been left on the cutting room floor. It was in the trailer, but not the movie.

    Jake and Vaughn are sitting at a bar and Vaughn looks bummed out.

    Jake: That ball wouldn't have been out of a lot of ballparks.
    Vaughn: Oh yeah, name one?
    Jake: Yellowstone.

    Picked up the Wild Thing Edition on DVD a couple weeks back -- high-quality stuff. They were completely right in bouncing out the original ending.

    In my nine months in TV as a Web editor, we had an election night in which we brought in a local political science college prof. to give analysis. Now, you gotta understand that we've long been the doormat of local TV as the No. 3 station of three in the market. Anways, 20 minutes into the show, this dude's cell phone rings. Next, slightly muffled, you hear this guy say, "God damn it," while reaching for his phone ON AIR!

    All I can hear is this sequence from Major League and how appropriate it is.
