MacGruber (explosion)

    MacGruber = intentionally funny
    A-Team = unintentionally funny? (parachuting tank, after all)

    As I recall, they released It's Pat in like one theater in the Houston area, and that was it.

    This isn't an action movie rip-off. This is nothing like McGuyver at all. What turned into an original spoof is so far from that now. It is not McGuyver, just an excuse for celery jokes. And the celery jokes are funny as hell.

    IIRC, Zoolander opened on or very close to September 11, which might impact its numbers, though I'm not sure how.

    Zoolander opened the weekend after, with controversy over a last-minute scrubbing of the Towers from a transition scene. And Stiller bailed on hosting SNL, which didn't help.

    Just watched MacGruber. Definitely a few laugh out loud moments, but overall nothing to jump up and down about.
