I didn't see anything else on this board about this.
She was 25, no word on foul play.

Wow, that just sucks. At that age, even natural causes would be awful.

    From the Riverside (CA) Press-Enterprise:

From her dad: “At first glance it looks like she might have taken her own life, but at second glance, something is very, very strange about it,” said Erica’s father, Mel Blasberg, by phone from Nevada. “We’re waiting for the police to make an investigation, it’s a pending investigation.

“Either way, I lost her and it’s impossible to deal with.”

    Sad story.

Not to thread-jack, but every AP write-thru I've seen on this ends with this line:

Know what? No one gives a shit. Save the "who got the scoop?" scorecard for a story that doesn't involve a young woman dying.

  6. Uhhhh, you're really barking up the wrong tree there. If AP didn't report it first, doesn't matter what the story subject is, they have to attribute it.

Nothing wrong at all with the tag at the end of the story

No, they really don't. She's dead. Once they confirm it they don't have to attribute a thing.

The question is, has ESPN learned it yet?

A very attractive young woman. Beautiful smile. A world of talent. So much to live for, or so it would seem.

    And now it's gone. RIP.

Her bags were packed and she was about to leave for a tournament in Alabama.

I wonder if she had financial problems. I checked the records on her house out of curiosity and it seems like it has lost almost $100,000 in value since she bought it in 2007.

In Henderson, Nevada that's probably not a bad drop.
