More exra base hits for Reyes tonight than Mauer has in last 10 games.

    Just saying.

The cycle isn't as sexy as a no-hitter but it's every bit as rare. I'd run a refer on the section front.

Jose Reyes is the most exciting young player in the game.

I know. I had to. Actually, I'll admit that I didn't realize Reyes had bumped the average to .283. I'll give the guy credit. If he's hovering around .300 then there's an argument to be made. But not when he was hitting .240-something earlier this month.

    Reyes has 9-game hitting streak...21 for 39...

    Meanwhile, fuck Billy Wagner

Two outs, nobody on the fuckwad walks two guys, gives up infield hit and then two-run a single on 0-2 pitch ... piece of shit.

Not to thread jack, but you have to love a guy who blows a save by not being able to get former piece of garbage Brandon Phillips out.

Typical Wagner. The guy is still very good, but he's nothing close to what he used to be. Dog-ass Phils made a very good decision not resigning him and haven't missed him. Of course that's partly because of Tom Gordon and partly because they no longer need a closer.

Isn't this what we have a baseball thread for?
