Did I read it right that Without a Trace is done?

Also, CSI:Miami is terrible. The pictures and setting are great, especially in HD, but god does the acting blow. How does David Caruso get work? I gave up on that show very early last season. How does it keep getting top 10 ratings?

It has a great lead in, it's a formula that works and while a lot of people like it, a lot of others watch as a guilty pleasure.

Caruso is very good at being bad.

My prediction: That will be the first high-profile bomb of the new season.

I give it six weeks tops.

The CSI formula is a smart one...

One big star: William Petersen/Laurence Fishburne, Gary Sinise, David Caruso
One recognizable second-tier star: Marg Helgenberger, Emily Proctor, Melina Kankaredes (Sp?)

Fill out the rest of the cast with relative unknowns.

There you go... The NCIS spinoff is following the same format with LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell.

Which new network TV show has already been renewed for a second season?

Yeah, Trace is done. It had the usual sign of shark-jumping (when Danny and Delgado headed to marriage) and the Jack Malone as a world-weary, cranky tweaker of the rules bit was getting tired. And he was sounding more Australian all the time.

Caruso is a hoot, he may have finally learned the Shatner lesson: stop trying to be serious and embrace your kitsch. And Ms. Emily so smokes.

I would be really curious if Caruso still takes himself as seriously as he used to.

    Fuck Caruso.

Well, I think someone should have looked at the price of gas.

But they were burned to death at the gas pump when the stray bullet hit the nozzle.

    [Red headed prick]
Well, this SUV did guzzle - lives.

    [Random Who song]
    Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    We don't get fooled again....

    Peterson is gone.

    CSI is dead.
