One of our local schools is traveling to TX to play Ferris High School and I have been trying to find out some info. So far all I have is that they are the Yellowjackets and that they made the 3A playoffs for the first time in a while last year at 7-4.

Are they expected to be better this year? What kind of program is it? That kind of stuff.

I am just looking for some general info. Thanks for the help.

    Thanks Jay,

I didn't realize maxpreps was as complete as that. I usually just use them for quick stats.

DE Emanuel Grady, DB James Dye, TE Jeremy Masterson and RB James Hopkins are players to watch. Materson is a playmaker and at 6-4, 223, has size. Grady had nine sacks last season while Dye had 68 tackles and 3 INTs. They have 8 offensive letterman returning and then 7 on defense.

Actually, I think the game is in Mesquite.
And Ferris, while being small, ain't that bad. It's close to the Metroplex at least.

Could be much much worse --- the game could be in Alpine, for example.

Oh, come on, Alpine is beautiful. The football stadium sucks, but it is a really nice area.

A better example would have been Pecos.
