    At least some "fake" modesty?
You're talking about a Hollywood insider. They bleed fake.
Rush's flaw was exposed. Moorer lacks class. Flipping off the RNC on live TV epitomized him. Can you see any other "working journalist" doing that?

I won't pretend to defend Michael Moore, and I certainly don't hold him up as a paragon of values with which I identify as a whole. But Rush has always tried to hold others to a higher standard while secretly maintaining an incredibly hypocritical lifestyle.

Kind of like Newt Gingrich decrying a lack of family values. Pot, meet kettle.

    @#$#@ !!

I have this thing: Moorer and Moore. Maybe it's wishing that Moore would get his ass kicked in the ring. Sorry. LOL.

Alley, being perfect, you probably wouldn't know this, but just because someone doesn't like divorce doesn't mean it can't happen to them. It's called the human condition. Shit happens, and yet, somehow, we try to seek the best for ourselves and others. Glad you haven't fallen.

    Yawn,

Michael Moore is glad to know that you have forgiven him for his missteps as well.

Thanks for your warmth and consideration.

I'm speaking of Gingrich as much as Limbaugh, but you know, just check Hollywood out. Money and power do strange things to people. Makes me glad I have neither.

More telling (and Gingrich probably didn't realize it) was in a recent book he noted a thought revising overtime laws would help Americans in the pocket book and make America more productive. Maybe, but parents who spend more and more time away from home are hurting their kids. We need a visionary who can look at America not from just a dollars standpoint but from a public wellness standpoint - how everything and everyone is connected, social issues, family issues, work issues and when one tips drastically, it affects the others. If that sounds socialist, so be it, but even in socialism, there's some good things to borrow.

Newt divorced his first wife since he found her cancer inconvenient -- and stiffed her on the alimony and support payments.

He then robbed the cradle after blowing off the second one.

Get it right -- or don't play. Selective factual recall doesn't get it, here.

Oh, so anyone who has EVER done that could NEVER at any time be FOR something they are seduced into stepping AGAINST?

You really don't understand the human condition do you? I'm not excusing his action, it hurts his credibility for sure and he's now nothing but a political TV pundit with a drastically shrunken political office fan base. But shit happens, and you and I could find ourselves in that poo one day if we're so condemnatory about it.

I'm not about to say he wasn't for this in the first place, but then, shame him if he just used the position for political gain.

The hammer on Rush isn't for his missteps, but for his hypocrisy. Plain and simple. That he persists in that kind of attitude in the wake of what he himself has done is what's repugnant.

And yawn, when, good sir, did I ever claim to be perfect? Two divorces are proof that I'm not. But you don't hear my hammering people who get divorces, do you?

And I'd like to punch Limbaugh's lights out whenever he does that sniveling liberal voice "but Mr. Limbaugh, Mr. Limbaugh..."

What that self-centered pig did to his first wife was unforgivable.
